Jonathan Lavan- Photographer, Naturalist, Teacher

Jonathan Lavan is the owner of Underpressure Diving & Nature Photography. In his role as a photographer, naturalist, citizen scientist and wildlife expert he leads diving and photography trips all over the world. His photography has shown in galleries in Los Angeles, San Diego, Chicago and his home state of Maine. His photographs were part of a competitive group show in Barcelona, Spain where two of his works were awarded first prize and honorable mention. In Maine he is a member of the Lemont Block Art Collective which is a group of artists of many different disciplines working together to share their art with the world.

 

Jonathan is a staunch environmentalist and educator of young people. He is committed to making a difference on this planet through his images and his message of goodwill to all creatures.
